S.P. Jain Institute of Management and Research (SPJIMR), Mumbai is one of the premier business schools of India. The institute is managed by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and was inaugurated in 1981 by the then British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher. SPJIMR is not affiliated to any university and is completely autonomous.

Academic courses offered by SPJIMR Mumbai are:

One Year Program in Management (PGDM): This program leads to one-year postgraduate diploma. The program offers specialization in Operations Management, Information Management, and HR Management. Candidate seeking admission to the course must have a 3-year Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University, latest CAT/XAT/GMAT score, and work experience of 5 years after graduation.

Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management: SPJIMR offers one of the finest two-year full-time PGDBM programmes in India. The program offers specialisation in Finance Management, Marketing Management, Information Management, and Manufacturing & Operations Management. The candidates are selected on the basis of multiple factors: test score in CAT or XAT, past academic performance, work experience, accomplishments and extra curricular activities.

Executive Masters in Business Management: This program is designed for practicing executives. The program provides high quality management education to practicing executives with minimal absence from their workplace. Candidates are sponsored by leading corporates for the program.

Post Graduate Diploma in Systems Management & Masters in Information Technology (PGDSM): SPJIMR conducts this course in collaboration with Virginia Tech of USA. This is a 2-year program that offers high class US education in Information Technology Management in India. Candidates seeking admission to the course must have 16 years of formal education, Engineering degree with a minimum CGPA of 6 on a scale of 10 or B.Sc. in Computer Science/IT/Commerce/Mathematics/Physics and in possession of one-year special diploma in IT (minimum 60% marks required). Admissions are done on the basis of score in CAT/XAT/GMAT and personal interview.
