The Pink Chaddi Campaign
One of those hottest topics who address
much deeper issues, and now it might be
a probable one for the Gds. This is solely
from the purpose of Group Discussions in a
Bschool admission process.
Since this is a very crucial,emotional issue
and everyone would have their view ,
this would surely become a fish market GD
and in such Gd's it becomes very important
for you to present your points with

Lets start by mentioning some points against the campaign:
->The Campaign slogan "the Pink Chaddi " looks childish looking at the
scale of participation and worldwide protest by Indian Women.There
could have been more mature name or slogan to the protest which
would have reflected the seriousness of the issue. Because of this
Childish slogan many women, of older generation would not
participate and the issue would remain focused only to the younger
generation women.
->This has resulted in unnecessary buying of "Pink Chaddi's" and
wasting of money where as this money could have been used for a
better cause for other major issues related to women.
-> A lot of Serious issues such as female infanticide ,dowry and
other social evils remain untouched.If women are so serious about the
Issue related to Pub or beating up of women by some goons then why not pay some attention and participate on removing these evils from the society.
->Its just a bunch(some 17K) of girls trying to take out their frustration on "The RAM SENE" and nothing more than that.
Some of the points in support of the Campaign:
->Shri RAM Sene is only concerned about Women going to Pubs but they are not against the Pubs which are definately not a part of the HINDU culture.And this is because the Government earns much revenue from the booming pub industry .So the sene wants to deploy its plans without deterring the government.Clearly indicates a tie-up between the Government and the Ram sene.
->The Campaign slogan is an Eye Catcher and perhaps that is why it is able to get so much attention from the media and has helped its way in attracting more and more women for the campaign from all over the world.
->The RAM Sene is an extremist Hindu organisation and its chief Pramod Muthalik is an
ex-Bajrang Dal member who are involved in various heinous crimes against the churches and nuns, thereby required a severe treatment of this type from the Women of India.
-> The so called "SHRI RAM SENE" does not follow the HINDU religion they are just some anti-Social elements or "The Hindu Taliban" as stated by Mrs Renuka Chowdhary, as the the very basis of the Hindu religion is respect for Women which is given the highest priority even more than lives of a million men. As in the case of Mahabharata(Droupady) and Ramayana(Sita) which form the very basis of HINDU culture.
->Such Campaign involving worldwide protests by Indian women was necessary as the state government itself is not ready to act. This point gets justified by the statement issued by the Karnataka Home Ministry: "Parents should take care of their Children".
->The social evils are a part of Indian History their eradication would take time,patience as our system is filled with loop holes,meanwhile there should not be any room for new social evils to rise up.
->This Act by the Women of India can be a historical event of protest and abides the
non voilent system unlike many other protests in the history like the recent protests by the Gujjar community.
