XAT 2009 was as expected for many students, it had all the elements of last year + the general trend in this year's papers is Less number of questions i.e 104 .To me its seemed the level of the paper was a bit higher or tougher so i would expect the cutoff to be lower. However there's no exact figure what were the cutoff's last year(or known to me) but 41 marks did get an XLRI call whereas coaching institutes predict it as 36.There are different predictions regarding cutoff's pagalguy the popular forum states the cutoff's to be lower around 33-35 for XLRI .
XAT's Logical Reasoning section was the toughest section of all, it had a lot of time consuming questions to trap students and waste their time.What was required was to keep a regular check on time and focusing on not to spend to much time on one section or one question.
