After so much complaints, an online petition SIU(Symbiosis International University) agreed on disparities in result.
SIU has revised the score card and individual institutes have started sending the calls to the eligible candidates.There will be no change in cut off.
SCMHRD has already came with the second list.
Students have different take on the score card revision.
An applicant on pagalguy quoted:-
"Another sham show from SIU.. Am really disappointed with whole process.. Expected 82 min.. Got 59.5.. And now they have revised the score to 68.25 as if that matters.. This raises question about the whole Snap test process.. If my marks increase that means some some questions taken wrong were proved to be right.. And that also should mean that there must be people who have their some answers taken to correct which should have been wrong.. Where does that leave the Cut-off..??
And in few pages that I have gone through everyone seems to be getting their scores increased.. Is evryone getting higher score or there are people with score going down too.. If nobody has score reduced, where did this increase come from.. and if yes people have suffered mismanagement by a group of people who are suposed to impart high class Management education..
Now SIU is in real mess.. This is a question of credibility.. We pay around 1500 bucks for SNAP & another similar amount for each college just for this crass.. More than being disappointed for not being selected, am sorry that even after knowing that SNAP was always like this wasted around 4k+ quids on this con game..
Cheers to Junta Power.. Were able to force even SIU to revaluate the papers.. Future of country is really bright with such a younger generation.. I just hope these younger Leading lights do not become tube-lights after joining SIU colleges.."
A very good point is raised here...if the answer key has been re-evaluated, there must be some applicants who got them wrong so there must be a decrease in marks for some candidates but up till now no such case has been reported...so was the new score card just a
gimmick by SIU to lessen the anger of the students..This raises a big question on the credibility of SNAP score....and more importantly credibility of the institutes..
